EdD in Professional Educational Practice Cohort II Program Conference

July 20, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Lecture Hall, Physical Education Athletic Complex, 1337 Lower Campus Road Honolulu, Hawai‘i 96822

Please join the Doctor of Education in Professional Educational Practice's second cohort as they present their dissertation research studies. During the three day conference, presentations will focus on Cohort II students' final dissertation topics related to education. These topics deal with a problem of practice familiar to the students and that arise in the context of their own professional practice or from work in the program's consultancy projects. The studies model practitioner research, a form of inquiry that provides a systematic way for professionals to investigate their work with the aim of achieving "actionable knowledge" that is effective in bringing about improvements in practice and includes traditions of inquiry such as action research, developmental evaluation, needs assessment, and design-based research, among others.

Public, Students, and Faculty are welcome.
