Hawaii Clean Energy Day

August 28, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Fuller Auditorium at the YWCA Laniakea (1040 Richards Street)

The Hawaii Energy Policy Forum will host its 9th annual Hawaii Clean Energy Day on Monday, August 28.

This year the forum zones in on a significant challenge: "Pathways to Clean Transportation." We'll hear from key Hawaii officials on major initiatives and specific actions; from Portland's Councilor Craig Dirksen on how Portland's leadership moved from vision to action in its transportation system; and from University of Wisconsin's Eric Sundquist on how other jurisdictions measure success.

Together participants and panelists will collaborate on vision to action for Hawaii - what a clean transportation future in the islands looks like and the actionable steps we need to take to make that vision a reality. Our goal is to end the day with a clear pathway/s/ forward to a sustainable future that considers the complex intersections between transportation and energy for all of Hawaii.
