Join us for novelist and translator Padma Viswanathan (The Toss of a Lemon, The Ever After of Ashwin Rao), who will be discussing the inspiration for her work and her process as a writer on TUESDAY, MARCH 20 at 3 pm in KUY 410.
Then, on THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 12-1:30 in Kuy 409, Viswanathan will be running a workshop called “Hans Christian Anderson: Fairy Tales for Writers.†Please register via this announcement if you plan on attending and class materials will be sent to you before the workshop.
PADMA VISWANATHAN is the author of two novels, The Toss of a Lemon and The Ever After of Ashwin Rao, published in 8 countries and shortlisted for major prizes. Her translation of the Graciliano Ramos novel S. Bernardo is forthcoming from New York Review Books.
