Renowned librarian Patricia Polansky, who runs the world renowned Russian Archives at UH Manoa, is giving an interactive presentation on the connection between Russia and the Pacific. Come to learn how the most isolated island chain in the world had trade negotiations and diplomatic relations with the enormous empire over 100 years ago!
