Immersive Training in Inclusive Dance!
The DanceAbility Method®, developed by Oregon-based dance artist and Guggenheim Fellow Alito Alessi, helps dissolves barriers and connect people with and without disabilities through dance and movement.
Seminar topics include: foundation concepts and exercises of movement improvisation; explorations for individuals, partners, and groups that encourage EVERYbody’s expression and non-verbal communication; teaching physicality and touch inspired by Contact Improvisation.
At the end of this five-day intensive training, students will receive a certificate of completion and a DanceAbility handbook.

About the Instructor:
A Guggenheim fellow, Alito Alessi is well known throughout the fields of contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation. As founder of DanceAbility International, he created an inclusive dance for people of all abilities, and is renowned for his
teaching, training and performing around the world. DanceAbility has received National Endowment for the Arts awards and other major recognitions.
