Podcast & Talk Story: Women at Work - Pineapples & Hotels

Inspirational personal stories, in their own voices, from the Center for Oral History archive, about the lives of women who worked in the pineapple industry in the 30ʻs through the 60ʻs, and present day experiences of women in the hotel industry. Insights on why women went to work and their experience with striking.

Talk Story panelists include Lurline Wailana McGregor (writer, television producer), Gemma Weinstein (President, Local 5), and Professor Monisha Das Gupta (Women Studies & Ethnic Studies, UHM).
