Beautiful Pieces: A Mosaic Experience

October 24, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Mānoa Campus, Virtual Gathering: Zoom

October is recognized as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. During the month, we'd likes to acknowledge domestic violence survivors, while continuing to create a safe and encouraging space. For our monthly craft night, we'll be hosting "Beautiful Pieces: A Mosaic Experience." The concept behind this theme encompasses the feeling of being "broken," and learning how to heal, and find self-love again. Participants will be able to create their own mosaic masterpiece. We are honored to hold this space for survivors, and gently encourage you to join our community.*Sign-up registration will close on Wednesday, October 13th --- --- #UHWeAllKnow1 --- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. --- At UHM, our theme this year is #UHWeAllKnow1 which focuses on how disturbingly common and close to home DV is and the collective work we all need to do to create a more peaceful campus. Chances are, we all know someone who has experienced this form of violence. That's why during DVAM this October, PAU Violence, UH Women's Center, Na Wahine ʻo Lapaʻau, Mānoa Advocate, TAP808 and Domestic Violence Action Center are partnering to shed light on this issue, to promote healthy relationships, support survivors, and prevent domestic violence here on our campus. --- #UHWeAllKnow1 --- DVAM 2021 October Events: • All October - #UHWeAllKnow1 Social Media Campaign & Giveaways (Every Wednesday, Check out our Instagrams - @PAUViolence & @UHMWomen) • Oct. 14th and 18th – Swag Table at UH Mānoa Campus Center • Oct. 20th - Online Dating Safety & Upstander Support • Oct. 24th - Beautiful Pieces: A Glass Mosaic Experience (Limited availability) • Oct. 15th - 25th - The Bystander Moment Film Virtual Screening • Oct. 26th - The Bystander Moment Film Virtual Discussion
