Please join us in celebrating the book release, The Mahele of Our Bodies: Nā Moʻolelo Kūpuna Māhū/LGBTQ, edited by Dr. Lani Teves from the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies department. The edited book is a collection of ten moʻolelo based on oral history interviews with māhū/LGBTQ kūpuna. The event will also feature a talk story with some of the kūpuna included in the book: Kuʻumeaaloha Gomes, Nawahine Dudoit, Aunty Kim Haʻupu, and Hōkūokalani Akiu.
