Franklin S. Odo was the founding chair of the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. To honor his legacy, the department and Ethnic Studies Student Association will be hosting the Franklin S. Odo Undergraduate Colloquium where students are able to present their work in a supportive and formal atmosphere. Franklin embodied our foundational motto, “Our History, Our Way,” which has been embedded into and grounds the work that we all do. This event will highlight three student presenters.
