Training program information for University of Hawaiʻi employees, UH student employees and RCUH employees. For those employees who are unable to access the training program online, please contact your supervisor or your departmental HR office.
UH Employees
Follow these steps to access the COVID-19 certification:
- Go to: https://universityofhawaii.sabacloud.com
- Login using your UH credentials
- If this is your first time logging in to Saba Cloud, click the Activate button to activate your account
- Click the hamburger menu (Three horizontal stacked lines in the top left corner)
- Click “ME”
- Click Launch to begin the training program
- UH employees may print a copy of their Saba LMS completion certificate for their own record
Student Employees
Follow these steps to access the Laulima COVID-19 certification:
- Go to https://laulima.hawaii.edu/portal/site/covid19training
- Login using your UH credentials
- You’ll be presented with: “Currently, you are not a member of the site called “UH COVID-19 Safety.” Would you like to join and become a member of the site?” Press the “Yes, add me” button.
RCUH Employees
Follow these steps to access the COVID-19 certification:
- Go to the RCUH Training Portal: https://rcuh.litmos.com/account/Login
- New Training Portal users must complete the enrollment form to request access
- Existing users can log in using their email address
- Select “COVID-19 UH Employee Safety Training” in your learner dashboard
- Once you have completed the training, email the certificate of completion to your supervisor

UH Supervisors
For UH supervisors who have UH employee direct reports:
- Supervisors of UH employees can check the status of their direct reports using the Saba LMS tracking report: My Team’s Certifications – COVID-19
- UH employees may also print a copy of their Saba LMS completion certificate for their own record
For UH supervisors who have RCUH and student employee direct reports:
- Supervisors of RCUH employees will need to ask their RCUH staff to provide a copy of their completion certificate generated from the RCUH Training Portal
- Supervisors of student employees will need to ask their employees to provide a copy of their completion certificate generated from the Laulima Portal
