Dear Professor  Your Name
I hope you’re doing okay! I just wanted to give you a quick heads-up one of the students you might have been around recently traveled overseas and tested positive for a new COVID variant. Even though most of us are vaccinated, this one seems a bit different, so we’re being extra careful.
When you get a chance, could you check if you’ve been in close contact with this student? You can look them up under "View Student Contact Info" to confirm. If you have, just shoot us a message so we can help out. If not, no worries at all—you can ignore this email!
Also, if you could keep this between us for now, I’d really appreciate it. We’re just trying to avoid any unnecessary worry while we figure things out.
Let me know if you have any questions or need anything at all. Thanks so much for taking a minute to check—it really helps!
Take care,
Dr. E******* D***** | Health Services
