Data & Voice Services

Information Technology Services is the primary provider of system-wide network connectivity for the ten campuses, the John A Burns School of Medicine, the Cancer Research Center, five education centers and many remote research sites.  The network has been converged to support voice service, distance learning and collaboration services, as well as countless business, research, teaching and learning applications.

The system-wide voice service is built on the Avaya Aura platform to support voice-over-IP technology.  The voice service spans across all ten campuses providing toll-free calling between the campuses and most of the Hawaiian islands.

Information Technology Services also manages the data and voice needs for the Manoa campus.
