University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Pacific New Media is seeking entries for the Third Annual Statewide Survey Exhibition of Contemporary Photography in Hawaiʻi.

The juried exhibition offers photographers a venue for exhibiting work and provides a snapshot of the state-of-the-art photography in the state.

Hawaiʻi residents—amateurs and professionals—can submit original works created within the past two years that have not been previously exhibited and show evidence of a photographic process in their creation. Traditional silver or color prints, digital imaging, alternative processes and mixed media explorations are eligible.

Selected images will be exhibited at Frame Arts Hawaiʻi, April 1–30, 2011. An opening night reception for the public will be held at 6 p.m. April 1, followed by an awards ceremony at 7p.m.

Images must be submitted by Feb. 25. For an entry form and submission details, including entry fees, visit Pacific New Media, send email or call 808 956-3422.
