'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' (Give it Your All) is a charming 2015 film set in the 1990s in Haridwar, a lovely temple town in the Himalayan foothills. The story centers on young Prem (Ayushmann Khurrana), an unmotivated dropout whose family forces him to marry Sandhya (Bhumi Pednekar), an educated aspiring schoolteacher. The sparks (and laughs) fly as the shallow Prem loathes Sandhya's appearance, but his strong wife refuses to put up with his behavior.

A quirky and unique romantic comedy, with a hummable musical score, the film sweetly explores how beauty and happiness are both always more than skin deep.

This is the fifth movie in the 14th UH Bollywood film series, running on occasional Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons this fall.
