General sessions are now open to all faculty, staff and students for Spring 2017.

Description:  We invite the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa to attend this session, coordinated by Camaron Miyamoto from UH Mānoa’s LGBTQ+ Center. A focus will be placed on sex discrimination and gender-based harassment and their intersections with Title IX and our Interim EP 1.204 – Interim Policy and Procedure on Sex Discrimination and Gender-Based Violence.

We will discuss allyship for underrepresented groups, including LGBTQ+ populations, and share strategies to challenge micro-aggressions in various campus settings.

Participants will receive a certificate and Safe Zone sign upon completion of the training.
