October 24, 2018 - October 22, 2018
Honolulu Campus, 2-401
Hsin-I Tong (UC Science) will share her experience using this OpenStax textbook for her BIOL 171, Quizlet, a free learning tool, how to search for Open Educational Resource (OER) materials, how to set filters to find images on both Google and Flickr, plus other nifty stuff she learned from the Pacific Regional Learning Symposium (PRLS) Go Open Go Free Using OER workshop this past May. Carol Hasegawa (Library Services) will demonstrate how to find Open Access articles using OneSearch, a discovery tool that searches multiple databases at the same time. Join us for this talk.
Stay tuned for more UH system presentations as we celebrate Open Access Week Oct 22-26, 2018.
