Frederik (Fred) M. Lawrence, the Secretary and CEO of the national Phi Beta Kappa Society, is coming to Honolulu in early November to attend the National Humanities Conference.

Your Alpha of Hawai`i PBK officers are pleased to invite you to meet Fred at a reception for all associated with PBK on campus. Fred has also generously agreed to meet with us ahead of the reception to discuss with us ways of increasing the visibility of and participation in our local Chapter's affairs. If you'd like to participate in that, here are the details: Thursday, November 7, 1:00-2:00 p.m., in QLCSS 412.
