March 12, 11:00am - 12:00pmMānoa Campus, Hamilton 306
AI such as ChatGPT has rapidly become an important tool in the research process, but like any tool it can be used incorrectly. This workshop examines the usefulness of this tool for assisting graduate students in scholarly research tasks, exploring use cases, limitations, and best practices in creating effective prompts, as well as considering the responsible use of this technology. Participants will learn to use freely available AI tools to search for information more efficiently and accurately. This workshop is co-sponsored by the UH Mānoa Library. For questions about topics covered, please email sciref@hawaii.edu.
