Windows 10 (1809) update advisory (Sep 26)

UPDATE: McAfee Virusscan Enterprise with Patch 12 (compatible with Windows 10 1809) has been released and is available at https://www.hawaii.edu/software.

Microsoft has begun the re-release of the 1809 update to targeted devices per https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4464619/windows-10-update-history. Users are advised to check the link for known issues and should check if their applications are compatible with Windows 10 1809 prior to updating.

Microsoft will be releasing Windows 10 (1809) in October; no official release date specified. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 will not be compatible with the Windows 10 (1809) release on the day it is released. McAfee intends to provide support within 45 days of the Windows 10 Fall General Availability date. ITS does not recommend installing the Fall update until McAfee releases an updated version of VirusScan Enterprise.
