About ITS Telecommunications

The Telecommunications group provides voice and data services to the UH Manoa community and serves as liaison and consultant to the other nine UH campuses.

Each department and/or user on the Manoa campus is assigned a Department Telecom Coordinator (DTC) who is responsible for assisting users with their requests, reviewing their department/area telecom requests, and coordinating installation of the services in their area of assignment. Each of the other campuses has one campus Telecom Coordinator tasked with the same responsibilities for their particular campus location.

Anyone interested in acquiring telephone and/or data connectivity should first find out who their DTC is (see department administrator or secretary) and discuss the proper procedures for requesting the various services available.

All Manoa campus requests for activation and/or installation of telecommunication services must be submitted to Telecommunications via a Telecom Request form which is available at our website under FORMS. Telecom Requests must have departmental approval and must be received by Telecommunications prior to any installation or actual work being performed.

Telecommunication services provided throughout the University system vary from campus to campus. To find out what services, features, and capabilities are available on a particular campus, contact the appropriate campus Telecom Coordinator or call us for contact information.
