The State of Hawaiʻi 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, also known as the Island Savings Plan (ISP) is hosting an Employees’ Benefits Fair on Oʻahu. Local Prudential Retirement Education Counselors, the Plan’s investment fund providers and other benefit plan representatives will be available to answer your questions.
The benefits fair is a great opportunity for employees to learn about the ISP, changes in the plan, gain a better understanding of the choices within the ISP (especially the available investment options) and thereby, enabling employees to make better informed decisions in planning for their future.
Who is this for?
Employees eligible for ERS who are interested in planning for their futures. Eligible employees are encouraged to attend. This workshop will provide valuable information regarding your benefits.

What is the Island Savings Plan?
The Island $avings Plan(ISP) is the State of Hawai‘i 457 deferred compensation plan. This is a voluntary pre-tax retirement savings plan designed to give employees a tax break today and build a “nest egg” for their future. You decide when to start, how much to contribute, and which investment options to use (within permissible limits).
Who is eligible to enroll in the ISP?
To be eligible to participate in the ISP, you must be a member of the Employees’ Retirement System (ERS)
