TBLT2007 About TBLT

The Department of Second Language Studies hosted the second International Conference on TBLT from September 20 through 22, 2007, at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, in Honolulu. The first international TBLT conference was hosted in 2005 at the University of Leuven in Belgium.

The theme of the 2007 conference was “TBLT: Putting Principles to Work”. The conference brought together both researchers and educators from around the world to learn from one another’s innovations in task-based language teaching.

The next TBLT conference will take place in Lancaster, UK.
