Ian Everard was born in 1953 in England at St. Ives, Cornwall. He has a BFA with Honours, 1975, from Stourbridge College, England and did graduate study in science communication at the University of California, Santa Cruz, 1990. Everard has had solo exhibitions at Mirage Gallery, Tokyo, 1999 and 2000; and Couturier Gallery, Los Angeles, 1996. His work has been included in group exhibitions at the Lisa Coscino Gallery, Pacific Grove, California, 2002; Institute of Contemporary Art, San Jose, 2001; Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery, Santa Cruz, 2000; Southern Exposure Gallery, San Francisco, 1998; SOMAR Gallery, San Francisco, 1998; Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, California, 1998; D. P. Fong Gallery, San Jose, 1998; Monterey Museum of Art, Monterey, California, 1991; and the State Capitol, Sacramento, California, 1987.
