The Five-Year Action Plan is an output of the NTIA Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. The University of Hawaiʻi submitted the final version of the State’s BEAD 5-Year Action Plan in July 2023. This document provides useful context on the key players contributing to the end goal of universal service in Hawaiʻi by 2027, along with the high-level planning and coordination that is key to the success of this federally funded nationwide initiative.
