Bio:
Blue Planet Foundation is a local nonprofit powering the transition to 100% clean energy in Hawaii and leading the way for global change. We find creative ways to remove the obstacles that stand between us and a future free from fossil fuels. Through bold advocacy, energy awareness, and community action our programs are creating sustainable change one step at a time. Today I will focus on Hawaii's transition to 100% renewable energy; by telling Blue Planets Story. Showing how we intertwine policy and awareness to leave a lasting impression. I will go over our current policy efforts, awareness projects, and will offer actionable information on how to be more energy efficient, as efficiency is our cheapest and cleanest energy source.
