UHM COE is hosting another visiting scholar talk-story - in fact, it's a double feature! We are very lucky to have two medical professionals and researchers from Japan, currently here conducting research as visiting scholars through mid-March 2020: Dr. Ryota FUJII from Nihon University, hosted by Dr. Cris Stickley at KRS, and Dr. Masayuki MIYOSHI from Tottori University, hosted by Dr. Peter Leong at LTEC. Friday, February 28, 2020 Wist Hall, Room 233 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Ryota-san has been here since May 2019, looking at 3D biomechanical analysis on joints that have undergone reconstructive surgery or replacement while Masayuki-san joined us in October 2019, and is using Instructional Design (ID) to create a speech training program for throat cancer patients. This gathering is free and open to the public. Please bring your lunch - there will be light refreshments (crunchy snacks, coffee, tea, and water). Please share along with interested colleagues, students, and others in the community! For those who are unable to attend in person, you may join via Zoom at bit.ly/VStalkstoryFeb28 See you there!
