University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s water polo attacker Bernadette Doyle claimed her second Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week on April 16.

Doyle finished a three-match road trip with a team-high eight goals on 51.7% shooting, six assists and seven steals to help the Rainbow Wahine secure the outright Big West regular-season title and extend their conference winning streak to a program-record 15 consecutive regular-season victories.

Doyle’s performance included two goals, three assists, and three steals in a 12-7 win over UC San Diego, three goals and three steals in a loss to UCLA, and another three-goal effort in a 14-4 win over Cal State Fullerton. With 46 goals, 34 assists, and 40 steals, Doyle leads the team in assists and steals and ranks second with 80 points.

UH is ranked No. 4 nationally and will enter the Big West Championship as the No. 1 seed and will attempt to defend its conference title starting April 25 in Irvine, California.
