Search advisory committee formed for SOEST dean search
UH Mānoa’s Office of the Provost has formally initiated the search for the next dean of the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology.

Said Sebti, Naoto Ueno, Robert Haile and Joe Ramos are the four finalists for UH Cancer Center director.
It is anticipated that the search will restart in April.
Charles “Chip” Fletcher has been selected by UH Mānoa Provost Michael Bruno as interim dean, effective January 1, 2022.
Review of applications will begin in October 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.
UH Mānoa officially begun the search to find the next dean and The Queen’s Health Systems endowed professorship for the Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing.
The start date for the both leadership positions will be determined based on the availability of the selectees.
UH Mānoa is proceeding with the recruitment of: head of Enrollment Management, directors of the Institute for Astronomy and Hawaiʻi Institute for Marine Biology, and dean of the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene.
Kenneth Chambers, Laura Ferrarese and Douglas Simons are the three finalists for IfA director.
Leonard R. Gouveia, Jr. currently serves as the director of the Office of Research Services.
