The council will meet twice a month, serving as a forum for community voices to help shape the university’s approach to evolving national policies.
Participants will explore UH Hilo’s Hawaiian language college, home to the nation’s only BA to PhD ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi medium program.
UH Hilo’s Jake Kosakowski, Julio Montes II, Nadjrick Peat and Caiyle Kaupu received 2024–25 Pacific West Conference postseason awards.
The program assists faculty with integrating experiential learning, entrepreneurial frameworks and engineering design thinking into their course curricula.
The forum will be held on March 13, 3–4:30 p.m. at the UH Mānoa Campus Center Ballroom.
