Rebecca Maria Goldschmidt Thesis Defense

March 13, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Art Building, The Art Gallery Add to Calendar

The public is invited to the MFA thesis defense for:

Rebecca Maria Goldschmidt: "Pag+mul+mula+an"

Goldschmidt creates a learning environment, a metaphorical garden space for the reclamation of ancestral knowledge and the generation of new ways of knowing. Rooted in the philosophies and practices of the Ilokano language and its wide-reaching diasporic culture, this “school within a school” will host workshops, artist talks, and film screenings inspired by our plantcestors: "kawayan," "unas," "marunggay," "bagas" and "niog."
