University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s golfer Josh Hayashida received honorable mention honors on the Big West’s All-Conference Team. He was the lone Rainbow Warrior among the 21 honorees.
The junior led the team with a 73.00 scoring average on the year, which was capped by a 15th place finish at the Big West Championship. Hayashida had three top 20 finishes this season with a season-best tie for 11th at the Western Intercollegiate.
In February, Hayashida tied a program-record by posting a 9-under 63 in the second round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate. He had a team-best 14 rounds of par or better including six rounds in the 60s.
Hayashida and the Rainbow Warrior golf team closed out their season with a ninth place team finish at the Big West Championship.
