
University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo baseball catcher Mason Cook was named to the All-Pacific West Conference Third Team.
The native of Farmington, Utah, posted team-high stats of a .317 batting average, .947 OPS, .524 slugging and .423 on-base percentage in the PacWest Conference. For the season, Cook finished hitting .333.
Defensively, Cook committed just one error, had one passed ball behind the plate and threw out five runners attempting to steal.
Cook was the only Vulcan voted as an All-PacWest Team selection. He will graduate this spring with a bachelor’s in kinesiology and exercise sciences.
