The $65 million, three-story facility is home to the College of Natural Sciences’ School of Life Sciences and the Pacific Biosciences Research Center.

The study culminates nearly 40 years of research on Hawaiʻi Island, spearheaded by School of Life Sciences Emeritus Professor Dieter Mueller-Dombois.
