Training Resources:

Hyland Community has a lot to offer for seeking knowledge, sharing ideas, and hands on training:

  1. Create a Hyland Profile. There’s a Hyland review process that takes some time (up to 1 day), but once approved, you will have access to product documentation and training materials.  The HSI number for the profile registration is: 22224
  2. Once registered, you can access OnBase   This is a unique way to experience OnBase sandbox solutions and products in the cloud!

Highlights of the Minimal Requirements:

  • Compatible with Microsoft Windows Operating System
  • Use a TWAIN compliant driver.
  • Offers a minimum of 300 dpi resolution
  • 1:1 ratio
  • Offers PDF and TIFF image format (availability of other formats are suggested)

Examples of Compatible Scanners:

  • Xerox DocuMate 3125 scanner [discontinued by Xerox]:
    • this is compatible with both Windows and Mac
    • this is a desktop scanner (lightweight)
    • specs: 26 ppm and 48 ipm* in duplex at 300 dpi.
    • listed here for consideration to purchase
  • Xerox DocuMate 4799 scanner:
    • this is only compatible with Windows (not Mac)
    • this is a high speed scanner (weighs about 60 lbs)
    • specs: 112 ppm / 224 ipm* at 300 dpi
    • we have 3 and they are available for loaning out

*Please Note:  Scanners with a proprietary driver will likely have issues.
ex.  the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 scanner has proven NOT to be compatible with OnBase.
