Timetable

Students are assigned a registration date and time based on credits earned at their home institution. This total includes credits officially transferred in from outside institutions, but excludes courses that are currently in progress. Students may register on or after their assigned time but not prior to. A student’s registration date/time can be viewed on STAR GPS.

As part of the University of Hawai’i system, students from one institution may be eligible to register for classes at another. There are, however, some restricted classes that are only open to select students based on program, home institution, etc.:

  • Community college students may register at any other community college.
  • Unless also accepted (for admission) by a four-year campus, community college students may not register at a four-year institution where there are more restrictive admissions requirements.
  • Students at UH Hilo, UH Mānoa, and UH West O’ahu may register at any community college.

Eligibility to register at another institution is based on their timetable. Therefore, it may differ from a student’s assigned date and time at their home institution (see registration timetables below).
