To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
1. Be a full-time UHM degree student; and
2. Be an international student in F-1 or J-1 student status; and
3. Have a minimum cumulative GPA (Undergraduate: 2.5; Graduate: 3.0) based on at least 2 semesters. If you are in your first year at UHM, you must provide the GPA of the last school you attended for a degree/diploma that includes at least 2 full semesters. Summer school and language school does not qualify.
You are NOT eligible for the award if you are any of the following:
1. A Graduate Assistant receiving full tuition waiver;
2. A student with a scholarship(s), government sponsorship, tuition waiver, or combination of any of these that covers full tuition;
3. A new student in which spring will be your first semester;
4. An unclassified student;
5. A student on an exchange program.
