Hawaii to Screen Visitors at Airports

On March 17, Hawaii State Governor David Ige announced new directives and measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. These include the closing of bars, clubs, restaurants, theaters, entertainment centers, visitor attractions, and state parks. Effective March 20, all passengers disembarking cruise ships will undergo health screenings. Also, the Governor said that the State will be implementing screenings for visitors deplaning at all airports. For international students who may be traveling, this may increase the time it takes to exit the airports. For details, read the Governor's press release.
