| Description: | Matjemosh, ein etwa 30jŠhriger Holzschnitzer aus Amanamkai, schlŠgt mit einem Stichel und einem Stein als Hammer Reliefmuster in ein Signalhorn aus Bambus.A man carves a relief design on the outer surface of a piece of bamboo. His tools are small chisel made from a large iron nail and a piece of stone serving as a hammer. His technique is shown in detail. After the signal horn is finished the carver shows it to another man who carefully judges the quality of the piece of work. |
