Description:Three films by the Yumi Piksa Team, a group of emerging filmmakers at the University of Goroka that produce films that record local knowledge and capture the multiple voices of PNG. Includes three films: Mama Bilong Down Under (13 min) - tells the story of Mama Lucindo, who goes about her daily life providing food for her children and her childrenÕs children. NokondiÕs Morning Call (9 min) - tells the mythical story of Nokondi , custodian of the environment, and the story of George Sari, a local artist who documents Nokondi in his paintings. Levekuka Clay (13 min) - portrays Ataizo Motahe, from Masi village in the Eastern Highlands, who earns a living from making traditional clay artifacts.
