The International Student Services Mentor Program seeks to connect new UH Mānoa international students with current international students and help everyone grow!
Experience
Many of our incoming international students have questions about what to expect when moving to Hawaii. We'd like to connect you with current UH Mānoa students who can help you prepare for your upcoming journey! Over the summer, our volunteer mentors will mentors will engage with their mentees virtually, on their own time and through scheduled online chats. Once fall begins, mentors will have the opportunity to meet with their mentees in-person at three scheduled events.
Schedule
Our mentor program will run from June through August 2024. Mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to participate in virtual chats over the summer, with an in-person event during ISS Welcome Week in August.
